Why $10,000, Why Now?
Last summer, our community said “YES!” to queer youth space, and the city funded us with $100,000. This big, beautiful grant only works through reimbursement. That means we have to have money to get money. In these cold and rainy months, we’ve been hunting all over Capitol Hill for the right place to call home and we may have found what we have been searching for. But we can’t move forward without you! Before we can sign a lease, we need money in hand for our deposit and first month’s rent. It’s our money, help us bill the city!
